[av_toggle title=’How Do I Subscribe To A Mailman List?’ tags=’Member Management’ av_uid=’av-9occve’ custom_id=”]
You can subscribe to a mailing list via the web or email:
You can send an email to listname-subscribe@listdomain (where listname is the name of the mailing list you want to join and list domain is the domain name of the mailing list).
Alternatively, using the web, visit the list information page for the mailing list you would like to subscribe to. You will then be presented with a subscription form where you can enter your email address, your name, and specify whether you would like to receive emails from the list one by one as they are sent to the list, or as a digest (a batch of messages, usually sent once per day). Each mailman list comes with its own list information page and this page is a public and editable web page.
Once you have initiated a subscription to a mailing list via one of the above methods, you will receive a confirmation email which you will have to reply to in order to complete your subscription. This insures that the email address you have attempted to subscribe to a mailman mailing list is a valid and reachable email address.

You can unsubscribe from a mailing list via the web or email:
Send an email (originating from the email address which you want to unsubscribe) to listname-unsubscribe@listdomain (where listname is the name of the mailing list you want to join and list domain is the domain name of the mailing list). You will have to reply to a confirmation email in order to verify that you do want to unsubscribe (this keeps others from forging your email address and unsubscribing you from a mailing list without your knowledge).
You can also unsubscribe via the web:
Alternatively, using the web, visit the list information page for the mailing list you would like to unsubscribe from and click the “unsubscribe or edit options” button at the bottom of the mailing list’s info page. Login using the email address you would like to unsubscribe, and the password for your subscription. Check the “Yes, I really want to unsubscribe” check box, and click the “Unsubscribe” button to immediately be unsubscribed.

[av_toggle title=’Do I Need To Use A Domain Name With Mailman?’ tags=’Sales’ av_uid=’av-5p3w5m’ custom_id=”]
Yes you do. Mailman requires web and email access. The domain name that you want to use with our mailman service cannot be in use with another hosting service. If it is then you can use a subdomain such as list.yourdomain.com. The subdomain can be anything you want and we provide instructions on setting up the subdomain to use it with our service. Most of our mailman clients uses our service with a subdomain. If your domain name is not in use then you can use it with our mailman service.

[av_toggle title=’Are There Limits With Your List Hosting?’ tags=’Sales’ av_uid=’av-49ar3e’ custom_id=”]
There are bandwidth and storage limits for each list that we host. This limit is on a PER list basis. So if we host 2 mailman lists for you, then your service will come with twice the amount of a single list limit.
T-1 List: 500 mb of storage, 3 GB monthly bandwidth
T-2 List: 1 GB of storage, 5 GB monthly bandwidth
These limits are more than enough for over 95% of the lists that we host. However if you send out photos and attachments to your list(s) on a regular basis then you may find yourself exceeding these limits. No worries though because you can always add more of each resource as needed. You can add 1 gigabyte of disk storage for $1 per GB per month at any time you need to. Bandwidth overages are calculated on a per use bases and the overage charge is $0.3333 per 1 GB over the plan’s allotment.
